Welcome.
I am a graduate student pursuing a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley in the Department of Nuclear Engineering.
My research focuses on semiconductor radiation detection and imaging systems for nonproliferation applications. Previously, I have worked on tokamak divertor design, zero-knowledge warhead verification systems, fuel rod quality control systems and innovative approaches to computed tomography.
Additionally, I serve as a radiation safety and research advisor to Clean Futures Fund, a 501(c3) nonprofit focused on providing relief to those in and around the Chernobyl exclusion zone.
I operate Western Nucleonics, a small business offering design, simulation and hardware development services for commercial applications of ionizing radiation.
