Welcome!

I am an incoming assistant professor at MIT with a dual appointment in the departments of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Nuclear Science and Engineering. My research portfolio includes advanced radiator designs, air-breathing nuclear propulsion, and long-standoff detection of radiation signatures. Please reach out if you are interested in joining my group or otherwise collaborating on research!

Visit the MIT Aerospace Nuclear page for more information on current and upcoming research projects from my colleagues in both departments: https://spacenuclear.mit.edu/

My past research includes contributions to antineutrino detection media,  3D radiation mapping systems, tokamak divertor design, and zero-knowledge warhead verification systems. My work with private industry includes contributions to OpenAI GPT-4, OpenAI o1fuel rod quality control systems and innovative approaches to computed tomography. As of May 2026, I have ongoing projects with Google DeepMind and Advanced Tomography Systems.
